What services does SF CHANGE provide?
SF CHANGE provides free workshops on "practical" topics(workshop list at sfchange.org/workshops) hosted by teachers, organizations, and other community leaders.
SF CHANGE also hosts stakeholder meetings between youth and local elected leaders through community partnerships(not through request).
Why is SF CHANGE partnered with community organizations and local leaders?
Partnership with community organizations allows SF CHANGE's youth team to collaborate with professionals to build, and edit, our workshop curriculum. Our workshops are often presented through a youth perspective, but communiity partnerships allow workshop hosts to request professional guest speakers(from our community partnerships).
Partnership with local leaders allows SF CHANGE to connect San Franciscan youth with their leaders through hosting stakeholder meetings.

What does one workshop?
All workshops are free!
SF CHANGE accepts donations on our website(at sfchange.org/donate).
How can I request and schedule a workshop?
1. Explore the workshops SF CHANGE offers at sfchange.org/workshops
2. Request a workshop by filling out the form at sfchange.org/host
3. You will be contacted within 72 business hours to finalize the details of the workshop.
What workshop topics are there to choose from?
All of our workshop topics are listed on sfchange.org/workshops.
Who are the guest speakers can I expect?
After a workshop is scheduled, 1-2 of our youth team members will present to your class. The majority of our youth team are high school students. Go to sfchange.org/our-team to learn more about many of our presenters!
What can I expect during a workshop?
SF CHANGE takes great pride in our presentation material, curated for each grade through professional advice from our community partnerships. All of our workshops include warm-ups, interactive activities, question and answer sessions, and games(if time permits). Before every workshop, hosts will be given a detailed agenda of the workshop. Youth
How can I join the SF CHANGE team?
Apply at sfchange.org/volunteer.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
I don’t live in San Francisco, can I still apply?
Yes!
What are the age limits to volunteer?
Workshop presenters are encouraged to be between 13-19 years old. SF CHANGE emphasizes professional presentations through a youth-to-youth connection.
Any youth between ages 10-23 can volunteer.
I live in another city and would like to start a "CHANGE" organization, how can I do that?

How is the SF CHANGE team structured?
Internally, SF CHANGE has 5 committees focused on separate tasks: Advocacy, Communications, Outreach, Project Design, and Workshops. Volunteers are encouraged to join multiple workshops.
